Holy Man Claims to Have Lived Without Food, Water for 70 Years

Didn't the article say he went like a month without food and water under observation? I've heard about guys like this before....I think alot of em claim that they get energy from the sun. Some claim they get it by actually looking at the sun when it's close to sundown or just after sunrise. I know they can stare at the sun longer than us but that's because they've trained their eyes for it. Whether they actually extract energy from light through their eyes......I dunno, but they can stare at it for lengths of time that one would find almost impossible.

I will say though that photosynthesis would be the holy grail of human existence. You could eat every now and then simply for pleasure.

which one was that? where you run around downtown little rock in your barefeet and video tape how non essential "some" protective covering on your feet are?

I didn't read the article in detail so I don't know how long this particular guy was observed or what he was doing while being observed, I didn't claim that. What I'm saying is that I've been hearing and reading about these guys for some time...I don't know why this particular guy is getting this kind of run right now because there have been alot of other people who have been observed for long periods of time without food/water. And in most of those cases they claim to be absorbing energy from their surroundings, mainly from light.
