Shittiest workout ever tonight.

Last friday I tried a pwo for the first time, C4 extreme, 1 serving, its different here in canada, no creatine nitrate and no NO3, but still I felt amazing friday. I did sort of hurt my right shoulder/back lowering the weight from a power clean, didnt catch it with my hips/thigh right and it kinda pulled my arm and my back had a pain.. it was all good though then. Put up record squat, dl, and ohp numbers that day.. was destroyed but felt good overall.

Today I tried 2 scoops because I didnt feel the beta alanine tingles friday and I was feeling bleh before hand.. pwo didnt seem to help at all. Squat my legs were just tired as hell, they werent doms sore but I felt like I didnt have any drive in me, didnt put up any more weight than last week and barely did. My left hip kind of hurts for some reason. Bench my left shoulder was hurting for some reason and I cut that short, other than that the weight felt lighter so I got stronger but I didnt want to hurt my shoulder. BB rows I had to lower the weight as my left shoulder was paining in the rotator cuff in the same place it hurt when I dropped the weight on friday. I just felt off all over today, no energy, muscles and joints just feeling like shit.. I don't get it

Thinking I should take a week off or something, I clearly hurt my shoulder more than I thought I did friday.. and I was so amped up on friday, I figured today taking 2 servings instead of one Id be twice as amped up.. bleh!

de-load for a week. don't take a full week off. there is a difference.

for me the days i feel like that is when i didn't get enough sleep and/or i ate shitty that day .. make sure you are eating nutritious and energetic foods in that window before the gym.

A deload is a great idea. I deload a week typically every 3 months, and then take a full week off of any training about twice per year. Taking next week off myself actually. Its always very beneficial to my body, and gains usually start up very good when I come back.

The thing is, I just did a deload not too long ago, maybe 3 weeks. If you recall my thread in the AAS forum asking about my test levels, you'll know I'm not pushing very much weight. But lately I've just felt sluggish.

Friday was an amazing workout, but I feel like I fried myself or something, or maybe I'm trying to add weight too fast and thats why my shoulders are bothering me, even with the light weights. They were really bugging me last night which is why I am considering taking a week off.. the weights themselves didnt feel heavier to my muscles, I pushed out all my reps, but I felt it in my shoulder joints on the press and rows.

In any case Ive been over sleeping and just very sluggish, not my typical get up and go with energy feeling. So thats why I considered a week off + time to let my joints acclimate a little.. maybe I've been pushing them too hard for myself, even though I feel im moving bitch weight

I'd still like to run some blood tests, but being in ontario canada I've found that they're pretty expensive.. not the $50 test you link to Steve :/

oversleeping can be just as bad as under sleeping. really as a lifter aim for a solid 8 hours and thats it.

you could have a little cold too going through your body and you don't even know it. maybe take a few days off and then come back and hit it hard.. maybe your body just wants a break.
