thats unfortunate, i'd fit it if i were you. as you said, there was nowhere to go, so you had to drive there.
in the future, dont confront the cop right away in a defensive or angry manner. even if he did almost hit you. confronting him about it like that will definately increase your odds of a ticket.
I wish I had fought my last speeding ticket, but I chickened out at the last minute and cancelled my court appointment. (i didnt want to have to miss school that day either) the DA wouldnt make any deals beforehand either, like they do a lot of the time. she was a bitch and wouldnt even stop typing and doing her work to talk to me. load of crap.

They know ppl won't fight b/c it's a huge hassle.
Also, I was not defensive or angry with this cop, I was startled when he jumped out in front of my car and I literally had to slam on my BRAKES to avoid hitting him. I was stunned and when I opened my window I said "My God I almost hit you" Then calmly (I am a calm person) tried to explain why I was in the bus lane.
He was filling his quota, he didn't care what I had to say.
