Without Supplements?

It seems like you *NEED* supplements like protein shakes and creatine etc otherwise you're doomed to failure in trying to cut/bulk up but I was wondering if anyone here doesn't rely on powders and pills and other over priced stuff. Who here goes all natural and whole?

Supplements used correctly and wisely can definitely help, but nothing beats pure determination, dedication, and good planning/technique.
 
I could not imagine trying to eat 300 grams of whole food protein .. I am expecting a protein factory shipment soon - I am out of protein powder and I am going crazy eating chicken breasts.. I can handle 2 maybe 3 a day but NOT 6 a day...
