I need to lose about 20 lbs. 43/m/6'/215. Good build, fat around stomach

10:00 - 30 min stationary bike on empty stomach
11:00 - 3/4 oatmeal, 1 scoop whey, one banana, 1/2 cup milk in a blender
12:30- turkey sandwich on wheat, light mayo, daily vitamin
3:00- PBJ on wheat
4:00- weight training
5:00 - pwo - 2 scoops whey
6:00 - chicken, baked potato, broccoli
9:00 - 5 poached eggs ( 2 yolks ) with 1 piece of wheat toast

Water throughout the day.

I know this is far from perfect, but will I lose weight ?

why don't you start your meals earlier? why so late?, you are eating the bake pot too late in the afternoon, eat it before the WO, or just eat half if you are going to eat it after, make sure you'r milk is skim milk, also if you must eat PBJ make sure is natural or switch it for something else, do more cardio after the WO... my two cents....

1) milk is skim
2) the PB is low fat, I just can't stomach APB.
3) really can't do my cardio any earlier, and want to make sure it's on an empty stomach. It's the best I can do for now.
4) Baked potato is too late ? Too many carbs that late ? What is the latest you would eat carbs ?

Thanks for the help. BTW, is this enough to lose weight ? My 30 min pre-food stationary bike w/o is intense each morning. Also, I started doing 10 min of inclined treadmill prior to each weight w/o to get my HR elevated, and only rest 1-2 mins between sets. Using pretty heavy weights too. It's a 40 min workout 5-6 times per week.

i would just try it for a couple of weeks see how it goes and then you'll see if the diet need more adjustments. When i'm cutting i only have carbs on my first meal of the day and on the one after the WO and that's it. It works for me but it dosen't mean that it will work for you but you can try it. Good Luck

I do agree eat a bit Sooner maybe at least a banana cause your body starves all night and when it is with out food it holds onto the fat it has so eat sooner and heck yes you will!

I think you will loose weight but it would be both muscle and fat.

Def increase your protien. Get off the bike and doing something that requires more effort to burn fat (mod-low intensity for 30 min)

How about walking on an incline treadmill ? I have some disc problems, so I can't jog.

Quick update. I started incorporating some incline walking a few times per week too. There is a trail by my house that goes down a decent slope. I walk 22 mins down and then back up at a pretty good pace. My HR was in the 140's coming up. I then do 15 mins of stationary bike when I get home. I do this mon-wed-fri, and the stationary bike for 30 mins, tues-thurs-sat. I do weight training in the evening for about 45 mins 6 days per week. Tomorrow is day 28. I went from 217 to 209 so far. I feel good and have noticed some fat loss. I wish I would have taken some measurements, but oh well. The mirror and how my pants fit will have to do. Thanks for all the advise.

I though I would add my 2 cents. Try low carb bread, also take one scoop of whey from the post w/o and add it to the pb pre-work out. 2 scoops of whey is more than a body can use. SO the extra scoop goes to waste. Unless your using low quality whey. You could also try doing supersets.
