what can I use to clear acne

for a while i was using all these astrigents and different soaps and it only made my acne worse... along with taking 10grams of B5 per day, it just got worse..

If you have oily, greasy skin, take 2.5grams b5 in am and 2.5grams in pm, that will keep the oilynesss away... use cetaphil liquid soap in am, and before bed (and in evening after the gym if you must)... and get some vitamin A lotion to apply before bed, the shit i use is called stievamycin and it rocks... finally have clear skin.

acutane is definetly a last resort but it does work. The thing is, no matter the number of times you do it you still have the same chance of having reacurring severe acne. Took 2 tries for me on this stuff and I have never broken out since ( 1 1/2 years), i get the occasional pimple but nothing too bad. I was one of those people that tried everything, which I recommend doing before getting on acutane

yeah same here ive been on it twice, its a lot better now, def dont do it in the summer cause you will get the worst imaginable sunburn, i got blisters all over my face and was bleeding from it

I can use some tips to get rid of some pimples. I dont really breakout that much at all but unfortenately once in a while I do, usually I'll use an astringent and facial soap also kinda flush out the system by drinking alot of water but I'm looking for another way of clensing if anybody can help please let me know "CBAS"

I use Proactive Solution.. it works pretty good but just make sure you use the wash, lotion and toner. I quit using the toner for a while and my face seemed to get worse. If you are using an astringent which has alcohol that isnt good. That can make acne worse because the alcohol strips your face of oils and then it just has to produce more. I was even told by a doctor about this and Ive read things about it. About a month ago I was using Seabreeze Astrigent and I was breaking out a lot at times. I then ordered the Proactive system and this time made sure I just used the toner in the 3 step system. It is pretty good and its alcohol free and ever since Ive hardly broken out at all or compared to before. So I believe an astringent was definitly making my face worse.

I've battled acne since I was a teen, and did the accutane thing twice. It works great, but is murder on your system. Face and mucous membranes (nose, mouth) dry out like crazy, and you cannot use face cream. Also very prone to sun/wind burn. A last resort.
What I find now is a face wash with salyclic acid, Biore Blemish Fighting Wash, pat dry and follow with spot gel with benzoyl peroxide %5, Clean and Clear Persa-gel 5. Do this twice a day. Also a mild exfoliating wash 2x a week will remove built up crud from your face and pores.
My skin starts dry, then get really oily. Get a good face moisturizer and use that where you do not have a breakout. This cuts down on oil production and will limit future breakouts. DO NOT SQUEEZE ZITS...the temptation is there, and I have a few scars to prove it. Ride out the breakout, there is nothing to be ashamed of, Your face will thank you in the future.
I feel youir pain....
