Try 50g's with your BCAA's and creatine PWO. Then take your protein 20 minutes later.
The starch can only carry so much weight. It is far more effective using seperately from protein.

trueprotein.com has this product already mixed for you too. It's called Post Work-Out (Amylocel Carb Up).

It is:
80% Amylocel (Waxy Maize Starch)
15% Creatine Monohydrate
5% Branch Chain Amino Acids

A Post-Workout Carbohydrate Formula accessing Waxy Maize's unique ability to shuttle nutritients quickly into the body using its molecular weight. This mix also provides the recommended dosage for both Creatine Monohydrate and Brach Chain Amino Acids.

It is $4.90/lb for 1-15 lbs. (For 16 lbs.+ it is $4.66/lb.)

There are 11, 40 gram servings per pound.

Trueprotein has the highest quality supps you can get. You can get everything seperately, or even custom make your own blends, or just choose from their already made blends. You can choose your flavor from a wide variety of flavors, what kind of sweetener you want (they have stevia as an option, as well as sucralose, aspartame, and acesulfame K), whether you want a protease enzyme added to your protein, or a vitamin/mineral mix added, or both.

And did I mention they have great prices...AND high quality???

I have been onlu using about 20-30 grams during my workout.....is 60 grams really needed, i thought th extra cards would just make me fatter or go to waste.

discuss.

i have used them many times before, not for waxy. their shipping prices are horrible and the general length of time it takes to get here isnt all that great either (seems like they drag their feet getting it out of the warehouse). this usually offsets any good pricing they have.

They ship UPS, and they already get a volume discount from UPS (probably not much though), and they don't mark up the shipping costs nor do they charge any extra for "handling" etc.

So, if you've used them multiple times then you have a 5% discount code, and probably used someone else's on your first order, right? So, you saved 5%. If you order 16 lbs or more of a product (say whey protein), you get an additional 5% off. That alone would probably take care of your shipping.

Another thing is, they are on the west coast, and you are east coast, no? So it's more expensive. They may someday get another facility in the midwest or something to help with that, but who knows.

I also don't mind paying a little more for quality (even though their product is highest quality at already low prices so I'm really not paying more). :p

Yeah they are probably not jacking up the costs. I am just used to alot of places giving free shipping if u order $50+. I am in the midwest so that is probably part of the extra cost. They do have good products.

If using waxy maize, do u use milk or strictly water?

I know some fear milk slow digestion, but then milk has substantial insulin-generating ability AND other growth factors (IGF-1)
