Want To Lose As Much Bf As Possible

Needhelp

New member
I'm about 165/5'11... I have like a 4 pack, I want to shed the fat, and get my full 6 pack out

Here's my diet:

7:00/3 Eggs, Oatmeal

9:30/String Cheese

12:30/Chicken, 2 glasses of Milk--- Summer: I'll eat veggies, too

2:30/String Cheese

3:30/Chicken, Rice, Veggies

4:45/Workout

5:45/Whey W/ Milk

8:00/Tuna and veggies

10:00/Whey W/ Water

I want to gain muscle, too.. But for summer, I really want to shed some BF... While gaining muscle would be good, though, too.

I'm gonna start doing cardio 3/x week in June or July...

How long should the cardio sessions be? Sprints all 3 times, good or bad?

Thanks

Remember that as you put on muscle...your metabolism will increase making it easier to burn fat by doing nothing.

At 5'11" and 165lbs...I'd think that you would want to gain muscle. This might help you in the long run.

Make sure that your short term goals lead you to meet your long term goals also...

I'll cut the milk except postworkout...

STringcheese, I need a sub for that. I need someone FAST and EASY that''ll take like 2 minutes to eat---School and work...

Are sprints good for cardio? 3/week? ARe pylometrics considered cardio? I'm trying to get lean/cut, add a little muscle mass, and increase my vertical leap..

For 165, I actually have a lot of muscle.. I think, anyway-- I want to be pretty cut for summer though, hopefully I can add mass while losing BF.

MY goal is to look similar to Jay(son) williams.. He's only like 185 (6'1), but really low BF and looks huge.....

so what does all this clean food add up to? thats the bottom line. i dont care how much fat you cut out, or how healthy you eat, if you arent in a calorie deficit, it wont work. figure out your portion sizes and total up the calories. there is no hit or miss with bodyfat loss, its mathematic. energy in is lower than energy out, pure and simple. all that other b.s. out there about fats, carbs, high protein, still wont work unless the bottom line isnt met. usually high protein diets "work" because people cut carbs and lose a buttload of water weight initially, then they have taken a huge calorie drop by cutting carbs at the expense of energy and now increase susceptability to muscle loss (no protein sparing from carbs) and also some nice high nitrogen levels that are great for kidneys. just a heads up. your plan looks sound but do the math and plan exactly what you are going to eat so you dont add here and there and wonder why nothing is happenning.

start doing the cardio now if you are going to watch your food so carefully, no need to waste time and effort. get a strong start on fatloss now so you can taper off and start with the gaining of more muscle later. procrastination always precedes drastic weight loss tactics, so get a jump start before you are scrambling close to your deadline.

This is according to fitday.com
Calories/Fat/Carbs/Protein
Totals 1680 45 210 116
Plus, Whey postworkout and before I go to sleep.. So that's about 50 more grams of protein, and more carbs too. Plus the chicken I eat has about 35 grams of protein

I'm around 2600 calories, 140 fat, 280 carb, and 180 Protein..

I weigh 165 and am 5'11

You think I should start cardio now?

Do you consider pylo's cardio? Some people do.. I never really did..

I'l be doing reps of 12, 10, 8 now.. Failure on all sets, except a few things (Workout at home)..

eat beef jerky, pretty low in fat and carbs depending on what has been done in the process of making it,much better than cheese
