hi all,i started getting serious with the training just over 2 months ago.im 22 5ft8" and now weigh roughly 11stone7 i started at 14 stone so ive lost nearly 2 and half stone,i wasnt massivley overwight before just a beer belly e.ct from too much partying.

any ideas on my ideal weight?i know those bmi and various other calculators can quote you stupid weight goals.

im really please with what ive acheived and i have a buzz for it now,

my problem is i still have fairly high levels of bodyfat in certain areas and i really dont want to be like 10 stone,i will probley diet down to 11 stone and thats where i wish to stay.

my question is how do i get rid of the fat without getting lighter?dont wana be a little 10stone pencil.

do i need to change the way i train eat e.ct?i ultimately want to get a 6 pack and know thag requires quite low levels of bodyfat how do i achieve this?

currently lifting heavy weight 3 times a week doing cardio 40mins sessions 5 times a week.eating moderate to low carbs, staying 300 cals under my daily recommendation and drinking a ton of water.

any advice or tips much appreciated,

Well, there is truly no ideal weight. If you want a 6 pack and all that jazz you will first need to have the low bodyfat to see it, and the muscle mass to make it prominent.

If you are starting to thin out and progress is slowing with your cut, I'd recommend increasing your calorie intake and start a bulk to get some muscle mass on you. This, of course, will add a little more fat to you, but it will come off even easier with the added muscle mass. Just make sure to adjust your calories accordingly so that you keep muscle loss with the diet at a minimum.

Go to drsquat.com and look for the zig zag diet in the knowledge section. If you want to keep your weight constant, on average you need to keep your calorie intake = your expenditure. By zig-zaging you alternate between periods of calorie surplus and calorie deficit and wind up with more muscle and less fat.
