Twitches

New member
Hi i am fairly new to training, have only been training for nearly 18months and was just wanting to find out some things.
After i have done a really good workout, why is that certain muscles just twitch and you can't do anything about them to stop it?
It doesn't worry me just feels funny sometimes.

Thanks for that guys. I knew it had to be something but i just didn't know what.

The only thing is though on my diet i am only suppose to have an apple and a protein drink. Might just have to have a banana every now and again.
:D

i hope you dont mean JUST an apple and protein drink in your diet....thats it. please say thats just post workout.

happens to me also. sometime it's my quad, sometime it's my lower back, sometime its my lats, sometimes bi's, etc. i get plenty of every nutrient though

Its weird, when I have a lot of gas in the system. . . .thats when I get muscle twitches. I also get them after a brutal training session. I eat plenty of food packed with nutrients, so it is hard to tell.

Hehehehehe... electrolite imbalance (sodium/potassium) will cause a spasm...

Eat a banana, and drink some gatoraid... :)
