i usually sleep like a rock, but sometimes i can't sleep to save my life, so i take a bunch of valarian pills (also sold in tea but not very tasty) and i fall right to sleep with a relaxing feeling. the next morning it doesn't feel like i took anything to help me sleep, and i actually feel more refreshed. i hope that helps.

gee what kind of fucking idiots we are, "hey let's go buy some gbl and sodium hydroxide from europe!" For those of you looking for a natural sleep aid, try some l-tryptophan. Now before you flame me on how it's illegal and not sold and has been banned from health food stores, here's how you can get it. Go to your local pet supply store, and tell them your dog has a hard time sleeping. They will order you l-tryptophan in a bucket as a sleep aid for Fido. Now, I've never done this before, but I remember in a very old issue of MM2K, TC Luoma had tried it and was able to order several kilos.
