I posted this in the Platinum forum but no one responded. Hopefully I'll get some feedback here.

When talking about training post cycle (say you're using just Clomid three weeks after a cycle), what have you found most beneficial in keeping gains?

A) Taking a week off when you start Clomid or;

B) keep working out, but just not as intense, maybe cut your sets in half or so or;

C)just training like you were while on your cycle?

Please also state your reasoning or the theory behind your opinion. Any articles or abstracts on this would also be appreciated...

Thanks,

Juice

Very simple. Lower your intensity. Trying to maintain the strength you felt while you were on will just lead to disapointment. Accept the fact that you will loose some strenth and size.

If you try to keep the same intensity off as you did when on you will burn out. You can't be 100% all the time. You body needs a break. If you don't give it one it will do it for you and it will be alot worse.

But keep in mind, for the most part only you will notice the difference.

So after you get off your cycle, your body's test production delays for a while ( till clomid gets the balls runnin) and that puts your body in a catabolic state. What if you train with the same frequency and volume as when you were on AS? Will your body break down muscle tissue since its in a catabolic state?

I keep the intensity up and drop volume by about 1/3. I also only train every other day.
