say your doing for example 4 sets of 10 for 5 diferent exercises for chest...question is, do you pyramid up each different exercise in weight? starting low and go to "failure" only on final set of each exercise?
okay, thats really not my point, im basically asking if people pyramid up each set...i have always been a lower volume guy who does all progression...im just changing things up for a bit and want to know how most people do volume routines
if youre doing straight rep sets, 10 reps each, i would do the heaviest weight possible for each set, not pyramid up but others im sure have had success pyramiding up.

All my workouts start with the big compound exercises. This is also where I do my warmups. After the big stuff is done, I just jump right into my assistance work, but I do pyramid up, I just do do any warmup sets.
So that is a total of 40 times 5 = 200 reps JUST for chest in ONE workout????
SHEEEEET.....I pass. I'm sticking to what I do. 200 reps is too much. Not worth it. I would do 200 reps of pull-ups if I could though...or 200 reps of Pistol Squats. But thats it.

lol, im just giving examples, im a low volume guy who is changing to a higher volume approach...like i said before, i was just wondering if you started low weight for each exercise and pyramid up or just warm up for the 1st exercise and get right into it for the remaining exercises...im not doing 200 reps...just an example...
