Just wondering what you guys have had success with. I am getting married in three weeks and going on my honeymoon...I have been dieting for the past 3 months and was wondering what I can do to lose that last 1-2% of bodyfat. I was thinking of cutting out all carbs for the next few weeks. Is this a good Idea? does anybody have any suggestions for me?

No carbs would best be done as a CKD diet so look that up and learn about it.

Posting up what your diet looks like now could help some of the guys (and girls) zone it in better, which will help with the last few pounds.

Do you use any diet aid supps? If not you can look into something like t-rex and see if it is for you.

Also what is your bf% at now?

I am currently at 191lbs. about 12-15% bf. 6'1" tall.

Diet is:

Meal 1 - 8 a.m. = Protein shake
Meal 2 - 11 a.m. = Chicken & Brown Rice
Meal 3 - 230 p.m. = Protein Bar
Meal 4 - 530 p.m. = Protein Bar
Meal 5 - 800 p.m = Chicken & Brown Rice
Meal 6 - 10 p.m. = Protein Shake

2,220 cals and 313 grams of protein.

Workouts are M-F 20 minute HIIT in the morning and Lifting in the afternoon.

FOUR meal replacements :worried:

I guarantee that if you substitute those out with chicken and veggies you'll lean out more.

I know man...I'm not happy about it...I eat real food when I can, but I have a really busy schedule with my work and dont have alot of time. I do replace some of those shakes and bars at least a couple of days a week though.

yeah eating is like a full time job... well, do the best with what you've got.

Make sure H20 intake is up to par.

Almonds are a great fat source you make be able to snack on during your busy schedule.

You know..you could do what I do. Cook the chicken and rice/veggies the night before, throw it in a tupperware container and/or plastic bag and just eat the shit cold

cook the night before...put them all in zip lock bags and shove them in a duffle bag and carry it with you or keep it in you rcar or store it somewhere. (look at the sticky at the top of the page..it's either in here or the musclefood forum)
your eating way too many protein bars...whcih in turn usually have a lot of sugar....which inturn spikes insulin etc etc....when i first started on my serious diet i was drinking 4 shakes a day...then after reading everyones posts i realized whole foods were much better (thx sarge, ghede, bunny etc) and i saw a huge difference. as of right now i eat 7 meals a day....and i only drink a shake if absolute neccessary....even pwo i eat whole foods. they are all cooked the night before....

Follow what the guys above said. The "I don't have time" excuse isn't a good one because it takes 10 minutes to steam some broccoli. I'd personally cut out the rice at 8:00 pm and sub with vegetables.

How many calories are you getting per day now?
