The top row of my abs is missing!

I was looking at some of the pics in the members section, and I noticed most people have different abs than I do! Here's an example off the other section:

His abs start immediately below the pecs (the first 2 abs are really small and narrow). As for me, I don't have any muscle direcly below the pecs. 1.5 inch of bone, which sure as hell doesn't look like 2 abs. Then I have two rows (ending at bellybutton, got some fat underneath). I'm sure it's not a question of bodyfat, as the topmost row should be the first one to show...I hear people talking about an 8 pack, but I guess I could never achieve that if even 6 is hard to get. Is it purely genetics or can I do something to remedy this situation?

im willing to bet its bodyfat %entage related. Abs are 90% bodyfat % , and 10% training.
Whats your bf %? How long have you been training?

Go to the training exercise section, and go under abs.
Click on lower ab exercises.

**Squats really brought out my abs. They get work as stabilizer(sp) muscles.

GOod luck

Dad gum blood drinker would you stop trying to push squats on people. Hanging leg raises work very well especially the ones where you just bring your legs straight up and don't bend at the knees.

Try those chinaman.

never said they didnt, but squats is a really good exercise for overall body training, and if you dont have a condition like curlings (lack of ambition and willpower) then you should do squats.
