I will now be incorporating these workouts into my routine as of next week. Deads go on back day, and Squats on leg day. Will these exercises for wrestling which is in the Winter. I really want to improve my body/quickness etc..for Wrestling, considering it'll be my first time in the sport.
Thanks.

Awww, no body answered. I have no clue about wrestling, but deads will add mass to your lower back, and work your hammies. For quickness add some pylometric exercises (do a search here). Have you posted on the Sports Board?

sup 15? bro, yes squats/deads will add a great deal of mass to you improving many areas important to your sport. listen to your coach, dont overwork yourself now, there will be plenty of time for that later. good luck, hope you have a kick ass season.

I like the idea of deadlifting one week. then squating the next. and keep them rotating.

Charles poliquin said something like this once: to improve your deadlift and squat in the same week, you have to be chemically enhanced.

I dont like working both in the same week.....unless they are on the same day.

thats just me.

Do you have a coach that can teach you the snatch and power cleans? I believe they are better for explosivness.
I cant really comment because i havent used the lifts.
but i will be learning them from a strength coach in two days.

15 as a former wrestler let me let you in on a huge hint. While Squats and Deadlifts are excellent, keep them light while in season. While in season I'd keep more toward body weight exercises, pull-ups, chin-up, dips, push-ups and quarter eagles (where you go into a squat position and hold, just body weight). After wrestling season is over go balls out on weighted exercises, and definitely do squats and deadlift, I won a crap load of matches with strong legs. When they shoot and you spraul the weight of your legs kicking out kills the opponent. Good luck with your season.

Single leg stand-up to a leg sweep. Not sure if it was my best, but I really liked it:D. One other thing, run alot. Build cardio edurance and you'll be about to take about 85-90% of the competion by just out lasting them.

Get some good pointers from some powerlifters in your gym on the deadlift form. I see too many beginners doing them with HORRIBLE form.
