forgive the noob question, but what exactly about sodium is bad for you, bb-wise? how much per day is ok? i ate a bag of beef jerky today (23g protein) but it had like 1005 mg sodium.
 
I've been a member for a while, but rarely have posted. From what i understand from past threads is that a large sodium consumption results in the body retaining water. So if you have a low bf% then taking in lots of sodium wont get you the ripped look.
I got a bf% of about 28% so i dont really worry too much of the sodium intake yet. But i still drink 2 gallons of water to flush most of it out of my body.
