That is what the rest of the world says too! LOL
I left once and only returned because I had to. I will leave again ASAP and will only return to visit friends and family until they also move out.
I am first generation American. Of all the peeps that grew up in my community from the same background, those that were educated outside the US (for university) only ONE returned to live and though she is a lovely girl she totally lacks any ambition. The rest all live outside the US. I think that says a lot about the state of affairs in the US. Our parents left their country to come to the US in order to provide a better future for us, their children. And most of us have emigrated to provide a better future for ourselves and our own children.... such a turn of events in only one generation!
(PS - The only reason our parents left their country is because it was overrrun by communists after WWII. My people fought a revolution where the US promised support if they rose up against their oppressors. I guess since my country had no oil or diamonds it was not important enough for the US to "save" our crappy unimportant little shit of a country. It is all good though. They have joined the EU and though shit is hard if I could take my kids I would go there in a heartbeat.)
I can not stand soft-titted, uneducated, arrogant, loud-mouthed, uncultured, rude Americans. These are the peeps that can barely speak English above a 4th grade level though their families have been in the states for generations and are usually the first ones to make condescending comments about immigrants who succeed regardless of their lack of knowledge of the language. They abuse and dont appreciate all that is offered them simply because they were lucky enough to be born in the states, yet they seem to feel they are better than the rest of the world.
Guess what?
IT AINT SO.
