Seahawks to release Shaun Alexander

Alexander doesn't catch or block well, if at all. If he can't get yardage by running the ball anymore then how much can he really be worth? Who ever picks him up shouldn't have to pay too much.

I don't know if he was playing distracted last season because of his injury or what, but you could see in his eyes that he just wasn't on that field mentally. I can understand that I guess, as an athlete... but when you're making millions of dollars everytime you step on the field you really need to get over it.
