rest days?

on rest days would i still consume the same amount of calories i would on training days? Meaning would carbs still stay the same? around 100-120gram a day? even on rest days?

You may have varying opinions on this, and in part it may depend on your goals whether you are cutting or bulking, and how fast your metabolism is. Personally if i'm cutting i wont eat that many carbs on rest days, i wont burn the excess carbs for energy and my BMR isn't all that fast either. If i'm bulking hell yeah i'd eat the same every day.

I'm not going to say who is right or wrong here b/c like everything here we all are going to have varying opinions. You just have to find out what works best for you. I've tried keeping it the same and the way i do it now. I find better results eating more carbs before and after a strenous workout, and only eating more carbs at this time. Your post workout shake should contain either dextrose or maltodextrin and that in itself is an extra 50g of carbs. And you definately want a few extra carbs before a heavy lifting day do you don't tap into your protein stores and stick to glucose for energy. Then next day eat your regular more restricted carbs. Find out what works best for you, may take some time but in the end you'll be happier w/ the results.
hope that helped
peace :fro:
