gosh in the same boat... son's bday is friday, and I have no damn clue what to buy. He has every damn new game for his ps2. His father just purschased a racing 4-wheeler so I am thinking of getting him a helmet and some racing gear for that.

how old is your son? It so sucks when they have a birthday so close also! My son's birthday is just 2 weeks after Christmas so I don't usually buy him a gift, I just throw him a kick ass party, usually themed to his taste and go way overboard.

he will be 12, his dad just bought a racing 4-wheeler, and I also have promised I'd get him some riding boots and pants for when we are at the farm, which is every day it seems. He has everything else,.... I kinda at a lost for what to purchase. LOL

There is no way in hell I will buy mine a 4wheeler at this point after last year when he just HAD to have a go-cart! It was fun for like the first few weeks and then nothing! Not only that now the woods we had behind the house is a subdivision now. I think I may resort to Lesate's suggestion and let him surf the web to give me ideas.

his list includes, a 800.00 gun for hunting... a four wheeler that tops what he has already got from his dad, things that well... mom won't buy no matter how much I Love him.. LOL. some PS2 games that I don't approve of, a saddle that will cost near 2k... ouch... LOL... His riding boots and pants that well... I can handle that. Riding boots 200 to 300 pants for a few pair 150...

well, we have a 4wheeler at the farm and my son goes riding every day all around the cane fields and the woods. He loves it! We will soon be moving to the country on this farm where we house our horses and he will be able to ride more and then I'll consider purchasing him his own 4wheeler then. As for now, he rides the community 4wheeler that is for the farm. Its brand new and there is nothing wrong with that is there? LOL
