Currently bulking, just coming back to training, after a 3 week lay - off (due to illness, lost some weight, but after the end of this week id say i got it back, and i look alot leaner than before the illness, and people tell me i look better.. dont know how that works out, lost some fat while not eating properly perhaps, eating clean now!?) (natural bb'er) been using 3 day split which was
Day 1:chest + tri's &abs
Day 2: 30 min CV
Day 3 legs & abs
Day 4: 30 min CV
Day 5: back, bi's & abs
Day 6 + 7 : OFF
So anyway, its saturday now, was feeling tired and sore from all the training yesterday after a lay off, discovered that during the week i get alot better results, better recovery, for chest doing 4 exercises (4x 7-9 sets) instead of 5 exercises, like i used to, so really less is MORE for me. The first week back into it, this is probably the best results ive had since i started training. Look bigger and more leaner in a week, supplementing with weightgainer and creatine, lots of clean food, 350g protein a day (bodyweight 225lbs, height 6'4, age 20)
Had a day off training, and im thinking, i actualy feel okay to train to train tommorow.. would start with day 1 again which is chest.. do you recon id risk slight over training.. or this is just trial and error i should find out for myself?
