Post Workout Nutrition and cardio

If a person was to do say 45 minutes of mod-intensity cardio after weights and the person is trying to cut, when would be the best time to consume post-workout shake? My thougts would be to preserve the most muscle, to consume between lifting and cardio, but to burn the most fat, to consume it after cardio.
 
I'm not sure of your stats, but you shouldn't need 45 min of cardio if you get your HR up.
 
drink it after u work out ..your muscles need to be replenished
