will b huge said:
Guys, I know we all have tried many different types of shakes, etc....but I'd like to know what EVERYONE's Favorite/Best shakes are: and whats your favorite compared to COST?????

Please share, I think this could be some great info......

Note: Would've posted this in diet, supplement forum, but nobody is there--CAUSE EVERYONE IS HERE!!!! LOL

Thanks

Bang for my buck is ON's Pro Complex Shakes and Bars...Da Best

Word..... ON chocolate has been good to be over the years, it's cheap and reliable. As for the bars, I go for Pure Protein, and get the Blueberry Cheesecake flavor. Actually quite tasty!

True Muscle Milk's Strawberry and Banana are the best flavors going. Then if your looking for just protein I think ON strawberry is my favorite, then for casein it's Lean Desserts Protein Bannana Cream Pudding.

Wow you fucking read my mind... Thats exactly what i would have said...

btw why does everyone have such an aversion to fat and carbs? You need pre-workout carbs for energy and fat is essential... maybe thats just the football player in me as I burn in the ballpark of 3,500 calories per practice...

I use to play football and well I pretty much use to eat healthy but also got some fat and carbs in me while I was playing football because training is brutal and believe it or not if your are all muscle with size your looking for injury is good to have some fat on you, but since those days are gone I stick to ON I use vanilla which is easier to mix with everything, I use post work shake gatorade with two scopes of ON and works fine for me, I have been using ON for about 7 years already since high school stuff rocks

MUSCLE MILK has all too many grams of FAT, Carbs, Sugar for me......

The fat is good fat and the carbs are not bad at all. Just make sure your diet is in check. Best to take first thing in the morning or before bed.

Muscle Milk's secret formula is called EVOPRO, a blend of proteins that includes micellar alpha and beta caseins, whey concentrates, isolates, and purified bovine colostrum. Muscle Milk also contains no trans fats, and instead uses a LEANLIPIDS, a proprietary blend of oils that are thermogenic and have unique energy properties. The types of oils used in Muscle Milk are special enzyme engineered polyunsaturated long chain vegetable oils, mct's, and l-carnitine. Muscle Milk also contains a full vitamin and mineral complex, called Cytovite. When looking at the Muscle Milk nutritional panel, many people worry about the large fat content. However, the fats used in Muscle Milk are burned for energy and not stored in fat. MCT's as they are called are treated with special enzyme engineering to make these fats more functional, promoting anti-inflammatory effects and enhanced mineral retention. Recent studies reveal that calories with engineered lipids, taken before and during workouts, promote leanness, and these calories are used for workout energy, with less deposited as fat. Muscle Milk also helps grow muscle faster than gainers, whey powders or even creatine. This muscle growth is possible because Muscle Milk is the first product patterned after nature's ultimate anabolic food, human mother's milk. Cytosport Muscle Milk has zero lactose and is very low in sugar. If you have tried other proteins and are burnt out, give Cytosport Muscle Milk a try, it's available in 22 different flavors, as well as 20 packs, and ready to drinks.

Sounds convincing eh?
