This morning I thought I was having arthritis pain in my hand (I get it in my knuckles sometimes)...on the back of my hand, in between my wrist and the knuckles of my pinky and ring finger...I took some Advil and went to work out. It was feeling alright, a little twinge now and then, until I did the Hammerstrength decline press, and then it totally flared up again.
Maj thinks it's tendonitis, and I'm afraid he might be right. I think the grip on the HS is at a bad angle for me. Poo! So should I just drop that exercise, or should I try to do db decline presses? I already know I can't do the barbell decline press w/o a spotter...and if I have to go to the dbs, I'm going to have to seriously decrease my weight. I'm also doing flat bench press, and considering all the exercises I do each workout, I wonder if just doing the flat bench wouldn't be enough.
