Should I continue to drink my PWS I mix it with 1% milk but as we know the milk has carbs in it and so do most protein mixes. Will this hinder my fat loss?

Should'nt. But you should really drop the milk. You don't need the lactose, it really bloats you up.

So do you mix it with Fat Free Milk? That is what I drink, and I have never made a protein shake before, but am getting some in a few... I sound really dumb, but am new to all of this. I am trying to lose 50 more pounds, I already have lost 18. I know I need shakes low in sugar and carbs, what else can you tell me? Thanks!

No No No.

The Fat is not your enemy here. You have to drop the milk all together, not because of the fat but because of the lactose which is a milk sugar. Switch to making your shakes with vanilla soy milk.

Midsectoion fat for a large portion of the population wont really budge much until you reach 10% or below..where do you think your at?

You shouldn't be mixing your post workout shake with milk anyway, milk slows the absorbtion of whey protein. Anyway I remember Arnold used to drink milk for protein and calcium, but he stopped, cause it made him smooth. Mix your protein shake with water instead of milk, buy Optimum Nutrition's 100 % whey, its very low in carbs and tastes decent in water, I recommend chocolate.

Ok at the supplement store, they said don't drink it with water, I am assuming because of the taste, but with the fat free milk. I guess she didn't know what the hell she was talking about. So I will try it with water. I got the Bioflex one, I'll write more on it tomorrow. THANKS!

If I had to guess I would say around 17-19% I have no fat it seems any where else I got chicken legs and small arms but can pinch about 1-2 inches of fat/skin on my belly it is that real then flimsy fat giggly for lack of a better word.

PWO shakes w/water or milk.

Both are pretty pointless when the first priority is to replinish muscle glycogen.

Ok sorry I am new to all of this. PLease explain what your post means. Replinish muscle Glygogen? I am trying to eat 6 times a day and it is hard for me. I was the classic eat 1 time a day girl. Now I am dieting and trying to better my eating habits. I need and want to lose 50 pounds. I thought by adding a protein shake in there, I would be having another meal, and was looking for one to drink as a meal. I am not sure what you meant replenish muscle glycogen. Please advise,
Thanks! Stephanie
