Wednesdays Workout- I dropped a set off of DL's and Bent Over Barbell Rows due to the fact that my back is giving me some trouble. So here it goes.

Today's workout-Back

Deadlifts from floor-
1x15-135
1x15-185
1x12-225
1x12-275
1x8- 305
1x8- 305
Lat Pull Downs-
Each set done wide grip and then underhand.
1x10-170 wide
1x10-170 under
1x10-180 wide
1x10-180 under
1x10-190 wide
1x10-190 under
Barbell Bentover Rows from low rack. These are done overhand and under hand as well.
1x20-135 over
1x20-135 under
1x15-185 over
1x15-185 under
Seated Rows on Rowing Machine
1x12-130
1x12-140
1x12-150
1x12-160
1x12-170
One Armed DB Rows
1x10-80
1x10-90
1x10-100
1x10-110
Hyper Extensions on Roman Chair
45lb plate to chest, 4x20
 
Thursday-Supposed to be Chest day. However last night and this morning my lower back is locking up to the point where I can't walk. Therefore I am not training today. I will do chest tomorrow and legs on Saturday to try to salvage this week. I am pretty pissed about this actually but what can you do?

Sarms S-4-50mg.

Bro I am sorry to hear that I have dealt with lower back issues for a long time myself so I feel your pain. Take is easy that is a part of your body that can put a stop to what you are trying to do real fast!! Heating pads, Hot shower, Tiger Balm and a good massage. (and I am not talking bout the Asian Massage parlor down the street that offer happy endings either LOL) I use all of those with rest to speed up recovery. Try not to let it get you down you have been Kickin ass your body is just telling you to chill for a minute.....

But I know you will come back just fine after a little bit of rest too.
So take it easy on your day off and enjoy.
 
+1 ice pack, heat pack.. alternate a few times a day, and a deep tissue massage. Take an epsom salt bath.

I only do deadlifts every other back workout or my lower back locks up like that too. Being tall makes it worse I think.. it's a long range of motion and you gotta keep that lower back straight on rows/DLs.

Take it easy brother.. You're still a monster... I'd love to move that kind of volume. I'm about 1/2 of that. Lol.
 
A couple days of rest will not derail your training. A more serious injury will. Patience.

Stay active in ways that don't hurt (bike). Ice (probably early for heat). More patience.

Today's workout- Chest Did not do Abs today. Trying to protect the back.
Warm up, Chest Press on Machine-
1x15-130
1x15-140
1x15-150
1x15-160
Incline Barbell-
1x10-135
1x10-185
1x10-185
1x10-185
1x10-155
Kept these lighter today. Again Back ismore important than weight.
Flat bench dumbbell and fly presses combined. This is done in 4 sets of 40. Fly press 10, Flat press 10, Fly press 10, Flat press 10. No stopping until complete.
1x10 fly 1x10 flat 1x10 fly 1x10 flat-40
1x10 fly 1x10 flat 40 drop on last half to 30 1x10 fly 1x10 flat
1x10 fly 1x10 flat 40 drop on last half to 30 1x10 fly 1x10 flat
1x10 fly 1x10 flat 40 drop on last half to 30 1x10 fly 1x10 flat
Incline DB's-
1x10-50
1x10-60
1x10-50
1x10-50
1x10-50
Again went lighter as to not have to sling up too heavy of a db.
Pec Deck Fly's-
1x12-110
1x12-120
1x12-130
1x12-140
1x12-150+25lb plate hanging on pin. 150 is the stack

That's it. Went hard and felt good. Really concentrated on form and contraction but stayed conservative.
