okay, so I tried my suit on again today...this really works as far as motivation goes (at least for me). Nate is gonna take "before" pictures for me...oh goodie...
Well, I got a new suit yesterday. It's a suite by "Roxy". Since I've entered into a "get in shape in 8-weeks" challenge on another site (to also test a new supplement), I have to take "before" pics. Which I'm doing later this evening.
Oh, it ain't BFL (Body for Life). Just thought I'd clarify
I don't think it's a bad program...just a beginners program. Generally, it's a good start in the right direction. I found the workouts to be pretty boring/limiting/rigid.
I bought a thong bikini pair of speedo's to wear to the pool today. Shoot...I've been working on my abs and losing a little water for the Summer. I got there and everyone left... People kept saying words like 'Dear God', 'Turn your heads kids', 'call 911', and 'isn't that illegal'...whatever those mean.
This morning I bought 2 swimsuits and for the first time in forever, they're not black or dark blue. One is a bright orange and the other is muted multi colored neutrals and I got matching wraps for each one. They look ok on me, but they will look better in a few weeks once I can get back to workin out like normal. Unfortunately, due to surgery and the infection I haven't really trained in about 4 weeks, I just this week got into the gym to do legs. My diet has been strict though and I just bought a Pilates dvd that I'm gonna be workin on. I lost the weight I gained from quitting smoking, so I'm headed in the right direction. As always, slowwwwwwwwwly but surely!
im down with the whole "look better naked" program because i get to implement the...ahem..."cardio" program. some HIIT, some endurance runs, perhaps a bit of anaerobic (afterburn stimulating) sessions.... hee hee. bad nate, bad nate!!!
but yes, i will be the photographer for the "before", and the official calibrated measuring tape guy, and caliper operator, etc. (for nonerz that is)
