Need Help - Shit has gone down

first of all I have to give you guys a back round on what I have been doing weight lifting wise so you can help me.

This summer (may thru july) I bulked. I was taking egg white protein before an after (24grams each time) and eating alot of chicken, fish, peanut butter, and vegetables. I was doing great. I was doing 4 sets of 5 reps for most exercises. I split up days into Chest/shoulder, Back, Legs, Arms/core. everything was going wonderfully. Then in august i started working more and working out less before I moved to colorado for my freshman year in college. In the time between august and now, I have been lifting off and on and seen a severe loss of muscle mass and strength.

I am trying to get back in the routine, but everytime I go lift, I get sapped of energy very quickly and see 5-10lb drops in the weight I am doing each week. That is every week the amount of weight I can lift per exercise is decreasing. I have a feeling it is due to my diet. Because I am in the dorm there is a lack of whole wheat alternatives, real vegetables (the ones they serve are often canned and boiled covered wit butter, boiling vegetables removes like 50% of the nutrients), and protein. That is to say in the dining hall I am usually giving the option of pizza, white rice, and white flour pasta.

I am getting fatter, and losing muscle mass, as a result of this I m having self esteem issues too. I want to turn to supplements for daily vitamins and minerals, I also need advice on how to get back into shape and my routine.

1. Does anyone have experience with cooping with dorm life while staying healthy and lifting
2. can anyone recommend supplements that will give me my daily dose necessary vitamins and minerals without pissing them all out
3. What do I need to do to get back into shape, so i can perform a full workout?

Eat, and eat a lot. The food may not be healthy, but if you want to put the weight on you need to eat. The body does not like to be starved. If that means you have to eat pizza to get the calories you need, so be it. You can focus on eating healthy later, when that's viable, but for strength/mass building purposes, you must eat a lot. This is a case where quantity takes precedence over quality.

Supplements are unnecessary. Just focus on lifting and eating enough. The rest will take care of itself. Unless your training program is completely, ridiculously, pathetic, the only reason you're lifts would be dropping is because of caloric deficit.

Here's a very insightful series of articles on the subject by Kelly Baggett. I highly recommend you read and follow his advice:

i could write you a book on diet but it sounds like you cant eat right. at least throw in some pre made canned protein shakes a few times a day. sorry man there is no replacement for diet. without a proper diet you will fail. get some weat thins or something to. again im not saying this is good but it is better than nothing.

count your calories. and get in 4000. it's a lot, but that's what you need. and 250 grams of protein.

I was where y were at 2 1/2 years ago. 6'2" and 160 lbs. Skinny

I now weigh 222 lbs. it's all about eating lots of food.

Do you have a microwave? You can make all kinds of good stuff with one. Steam Veggies, Yams/Sweet Potatoes, etc.

Sounds like you really aren't trying that hard. When I lived in the dorms I would order chicken breasts sandwiches and just take the breast off and eat a couple at a time. You gotta work with what you can, but you can also go buy shit at the grocery store and bring it back with you.

I brought a foreman grill into my dorm and used that a good amount as well for chicken breasts and steak.

college is a dream bro, you dont have to cook half the time and you can lift when ever you want. Get some food down that throat.
