My new routine...please critique

my goal in making this routine is to work every body part 2x during the week. please critique

mon- chest, tris
tues- bis, delts, back
wed- quads, hams, calves
thurs- chest, tris
fri- quads, hams
sat- bis, delts, back, calves
sun- off
 
Why are you working each body part 2 times a week ? Once a week should be enough if you are working it hard. Try this
Monday:
Chest and Tri's and Abs
Tuesday:
Back and Bi's
Wednesday:
Rest
Thursday:
Legs ad Abs
Friday:
Shoulders
Sat and Sunday: Rest
I have used that routine with very good results

If your on (You know what I mean)then maybe. I still think while "on" you should rest at least every third day. Take Wed and Sun off. Sleep and eat on those days and let your body relax. When Big Lou was doing the TV The Hulk, he was working out every body part 3X a weeks. Unless your taking a similar cycle, don't do it.

Now on the flip side of that. I myself have a routine I follow when I'm on. I train one body part 2X a week (along with the other body parts) and this gives me a chance to throw in a few more sets on different body parts throughout the cycle (usaully 12 weeks). Did I confuse you, or did you get that?

One day's rest is definitely not enough. Your body may be able to handle it but you need more time away from the gym. Your routine is gonna get stale quick. :o
 
Oh yeah, if you do decide to follow what you've posted then be sure to take 750mg of Glucosamine and 500mg of Condroitin. This will help with your sore joints and so forth.
 
interesting mustang. i think i may try that routine. i think i may have been overtrainin with mine. i only train ery body part once a week but i 2on1off3on1off. need to try somethin new. learn something new eryday.
