My calves are the same size as my bicepts!

I took out the tape today and measured a few things and found out my bicepts are the same size as my calves. Damn, I knew my calves were puny but shit. Am I the only one with this problem? I've done some research on calf workouts but I do most of the workouts already. Still have puny calves. Any input? My bi's and calves are 13". I'm 5'8" and 140lbs. Please tell me other people have this unfortunate curse.:nopity:

Wel they're supposed to be the same according to popular symmetry guides.

My Calves are a full inch and a bit bigger than my arms - which is quite the opposite for most people :)
I've never had problems getting my calves bigger - sprinting, jumping olympic lifts have all had their share here. So I can't really help you much - genetics is a big factor in calf developement. I personally believe you have to do fast and explosive movements to get the calves to grow.

I've done a few explosive single leg dumbell calf raises a few weeks back, they worked well, especailly after you have pre-fatigued them from squats and stuff

Hahah when I read the title of this post, I expected to come in and read that you were really excited about this! I know I'd be. My calves are lagging behind my arms by an inch or so. Which sucks, but I have been busting my ass to get them up to par. I think you should be happy with that symmetry, or atleast the popular notion of what symmetry should be (neck, bi's, calves). Now just work at bringing them both up at a similiar rate, so you dont have to play catch up like I have been for the last 6 months or so. :(

Well maybe I have a twisted though on what symmetry is supposed to be. I am going to take some pics and load them on here in a little bit. My neck is 2 1/2" bigger the my bi's and calves.

my calves are like an inch smaller than my arms... however they used to be 2 inches bigger than my arms... either way i still sort of look proportionate.

Calves neck and bi's should all be around the same size. you can get away with a thicker neck and calves then arms. However it starts looking funny when you arms are the biggest.

im a bit weird

left calf is 15.5, right is 14.5, biceps are 13.5 and 13 respectively. I weigh about 140-150 at 5'6 or 5'7. (im only 14, gimme a break lol)
