Meet Report and VIDEOS (really this time)!! - Blue Mountain Open 2006

Thanks guys. ANd you make a lot of sense silver shadow...

I will continue to post my progress and hopefully do better at the next comp in October.

That's awesome bro... exactly what the other guys said it's Experience... you can't buy that. Took some balls to do that, You did great!

lol... I used to throw the shotput, you have an old vid of that?

I do have some videos from me throwing shot. I threw the 12lbs one, but don't really want to look at those videos again. I only threw for 2-3 months, had no technique, etc. Thank god for squats, or else I would have never thrown the distances I did.

What were your PRs on the 12lb shot? Did you glide or spin??

Once you perfect the technique, those distances SOAR as you get bigger oly lifts.

nice! lol... ok. I was low-middle on the ranking when i threw... I had some BIG BOYS i was throwing with that launched the shot like a pebble. Ahhhhh the old track days.

I really don't even remember what i threw it wasn't anything special.. i wonder if I have record of what i threw somewhere packed away.

Yeah there was a guy from my province that threw in the range of 20-21m with the 12# shot. It was ridiculous, the guy was so stacked I could not believe it. A man among boys. I swear he threw so far he was going to nail the javelin throwers on the other side of the field.
