Mass monster diet advice

Going to begin the mayhem shortly, probably in around 5 weeks or so. If anyone has any suggestions on things I could add, substitute, drop etc that would be great and much appreciated.

Diet im looking to follow:

830-9:
4 oat packet,
scoop of whey
2 servs 1% milk.
serv cottage cheese.
1/2 tin black beans

1150:
1/4 lb ground turkey/chicken (97/3)
oat packet,
serving cottage cheese,
large fruit cup,
1 servs 1% milk

150: ,
2 servs 1% milk
2 oats packets,
1/4 cup rice (uncooked measurement),
1 whole egg 1 white

330:
1 whole egg, 1 white,
3 whole wheat slices bread,
serving cottage cheese.
1/4 cup rice
1 oat packet
large portion of Broccoli

LIFT
postworkout: 2 scoops whey and 1 oat packet

6-630:
1/4 lb ground turkey/chicken,
1/2 tin of black beans,
4 oat packets,
serving cottage cheese,
1/4 cup rice,
half spoon extra V olive oil

9:
3 eggs, 1 white, large amount of spinach

11:
2 scoops of whey, 1.5 servings/spoons extra V olive oil

If i wake up: scoop of whey

Macros and all that:

390 protein
515 carbs
120 fat
4690 kcals
3000mg sodium (potassium, magnesium, calcium are much much higher in terms of daily value)

got plenty of supps and everything. Reason im not adding in more meat is because of money and I hate cooking lbs of it and then having to deal with washing shit.

Goal is to gain while adding little BF.

:jenscat

i would say more meat and less shakes...

This

Chew your food.

I'm gonna go ahead and piss the supplement bros off, but shakes are a waste of time and money. So are 99.9% of all other supplements on the market.

Three or four big meals of real food, meat, taters, fruit, veggies is all you need.

I'd rather eat three big balanced meals (a pound of meat, starchy carbs, healthy fats, fruits and veggies) then live off of liquid kcals (powders and milk) my body wasn't designed to utilize.

The $$$ you save on not buying milk, protein powders, and supplements you can spend on things that will actually make a difference in your performance and physique. Like more meat and steroids lol

Good luck to you bro.

I suppose I could add in more meat, but if I spent all the money I spend on whey and instead got meat Id probably only get another 1/2 lb to a lb of it. 12 lbs of whey is 60 dollars for me.
The only reason I have so many Shakes is that they are more convenient IE in between classes and I dont have a large refrigerator to store much at all. On top of that it doesnt go cold enough to be able to safely store meat for longer than 48 hours.
i try not to knock back the shakes overly fast as the first stage of digestion is in the mouth
Thanks for all the suggestions guys, I shall look into more meat and if I can find it cheap enough Ill probably take a couple of shakes out and add it in.

Man, I hate to be a debbie downer here, but if you're only paying $60 for 12 pounds of whey it's probably pure trash and not doing ANYthing at all for you in terms of growth or recovery.

Again, my opinions here are probably different than almost everyone you will ask on the matter.

You should look into buying ground chuck (can be found for cheap, like $2 a pound) and rinsing it as you cook it.

$60 can buy you 30 pounds of ground beef if bought it bulk. That's a pound per day.

Saute some onions, peppers, and mushrooms then cook and rinse the meat, season, and add the veggies. This is easy and actually not too bad. Cook a couple pounds every few days.

A crockpot is a good investment too. Take a whole chicken (they're cheap) and throw it in the slow cooker with some taters and veggies in the morning before class. When you get home you'll have a whole chicken plus veggies to eat.

Pot roast and pork roast works really well here too, but a little more $$$.

If you're killing a shit load of meat per meal for three or four meals per day (a pound of ground beef, a whole chicken, a few cans of tuna and 1/2 dozen eggs) You will have little need for shakes (pwo if you can't get a meal in right away) and no reason to obsess about meal frequency considering you'll be slapped full and digesting food all day. Plus I guarantee you grow bigger and stronger than with your current plan. Especially if you're on the sauce

Of course ill be on the juice

The whey is cytosport and I get it from costco - as far as I can tell its as good as any other whey ive used, but you could be right.

I do actually have a slow cooker, so Im going to look into your idea of a beastly pot of mass, not sure I could fit a whole chicken in my fridge tho so may use just breast meat or steak.
And that ground beef fat reducing tip is being put to work, cant buy in bulk but its still a good idea.

Thanks a lot SL

Buy a bigger fridge!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol

No problem bro. GFH!!!!

Tried giving you K but not sure how to give more than 1, will gladly do so once I find out how lol.

May just get another fridge thats the same as the one I have so I would have 2, only cost me 40 in the first place, then ill be pounding the meat day and night :chomp::chomp::chomp:
