New Jack

New member
If your into amateur boxing and you only have time and energy to lift once a week is this a good program?

Bench Press 10,8,6,4,2
Military Press 10,8,6,4,2
Lat Pull Downs 10,8,6,4,2
Standing barbell curls 10,8,6,4,2
Squats 10,8,6,4,2
Deads 10,8,6,4,2
Shrugs 10,8,6,4,2
Neck 5 x 10

Thanks in advance.

way too muich volume

squat 3 sets
deadlift 2-3 sets
Incline press 3 sets
lat pulldowns 3 sets

that would be pretty much all I would do since you need to work on boxing first and weightlifting second. only so much you can do in one session

Holy crap. If you manage to actually do all that, you'd be asleep for the next 3 days. Drop the volume, and I would try really hard to find a second day somewhere to split things up. If not, what LS said is your best bet.

I'm an amateur boxer and I still wait train 6-7 days per week. I simply weight train in the morning, then train for boxing (3-4 days per week) in the evening.
