Let's see if those goals were indeed reasonable ...

Alright ...

My back is feeling a lot better than yesterday. After the injury, I sat at the gym and stretched for like 15 or 20 minutes. When I got home, I popped 3 Motrin, and applied ice and heat in 30 minutes intervals. Today it's feeling much better. I'm soon gonna take a couple more Motrin and try to relax. Not gonna work though, cause I have to go to work. But I ain't lifting shit today. :)

Well congrats on the personal record. This is why I never max out. . because it increased the risk of injury. When this happens, your training can be set back.

Loudin, IMO I think you should test the waters every now and again. Why not check and see what YOUR ORM is? :)

I am sure that if you do infact use the proper form and own a positive attitude, anything is possible. :)

Well really whats the point? Powerlifters do this, plus I like to break personal records by increasing weights and adding additional reps. I need to recruit muscle fibers, not test the CNS.

The point is to see how far and how fast you are progressing. To see how strong you are getting. To see how strong you must become until YOU are satisfied.

I am pushing ORM training from time to time bc it really helps me in my quest to become stronger and more powerful. I think it could help you too Loudin. We are both mortals.

You said it best though. You liek to break personal records by increasing weightsa and adding reps. Diff't strokes for diff't folks. Rock on brother. :goatslaye

My back feels SOOOOOO much better today. I dunno what it was, but I think the pain has totally left my body. I feel like I can go pull that 405 shit now. haha. Nah. I'll wait a while for that one. Glad I have this week off. Time to let that CNS recuperate.

To everyone who tossed out the encouragement, thank you very much. I know I wouldn't be able to push/pull this much weight without the help of everyone on this board for the past year+ I've been here.

reverse hypers dude!

Theya re your best friend if you pull. For rehab do em on a swiss ball, that way the spine flexes - thus erectros are gently massaged

Im glad your feeling better buddy!
I'm with louden on the PR thing... I just hate the whole idea of risking hurting myself... put myself out of the game too many times already... lesson learned for me anyways... but like hammer said.. different strokes for different strokes...

KEEP GETTING STRONGER!
