Alright now. Today was chest/tri day. My goal for my bench strength was an even 300. The results:
I am 2 for 2! I put up 300! I tried to get 315 after that. to match my PR, but I needed a small spot to get it up. So, I left my lift at 300. Goal surpassed.
Like I said, that' 2 for 2. Both my military press and bench press goals have been obtained. I'm psyched as hell for my deadlift tomorrow. I had previously outdone myself about a month ago, and shattered my deadlift goal by I think 30 pounds. So, tomorrow is just going to see if I can outlift myself. Wish me luck.
gman, Monday, my warmups were:
135 for 5
155 for 3
175 for 3
195 for 1
205 for 1
225 for 1
230.
I also kept lifting. I followed my max with 2 PR sets of seated db military presses with 80s.
Which reminds me, today, after my chest workout, it was time to move on to tris, where I was doing dips for 3 sets. I got 8, 7, and 7 reps out, with a 100 lb dumbbell attached. That's right. New PR.
