that "30" or "60" grams is all the body can take in a sitting is not true. A 150pd male will not be able to absorb the same amount of a 250pd male. That old stigma of exact amounts is totally false. I have read a couple places that the body can digest as much protein you give it. AS far as absorbtion rate it all depends on the person. If you are training hard why worry about how much protein you can absorb? Get as much as possible. As far as anyone saying "it is hard on your kidney's"..that plays no bearing unless you previous problems with your kidney's.
