1 warm up set, 3 work sets, and 2 burnout sets. Yowch.

It's one of those days when even walking to the bathroom is fraught with danger of your legs just refusing to hold you up--I'm sure you all know the kind.

I am loving it. I should do this more often. :)

wow thats a lotta reps..it feels funny the next couple days for me after high rep squats...my knees always buckle when im walking. lol

Hey Night Fly how's it going?!?!?!?!?

Rockin' the 275# DLs for warmups by now I bet!

Yeah I was a funny sight in the gym right afterwards. And putting on my pants in the locker room :).

I was walking around looking like I was trying to get rid of a permanent wedgie.

My lower back was messed up too, I had to lay on a bench with my feet up between sets.

But once you get under that bar all those piddling things like back spasms just seem to disappear from my mind..funny, squats.

I must admit I have been sort of neglecting squats and my legs in general from my routine and I am glad to be back.

Woo hoo!

I'm cringing just thinking about being under the bar for that many reps...
Way to go man.. enjoy walking like a cowboy for the next couple of days.
Thanks
Ryan

how heavy were you going whne you did that many reps. A lot of times when I go lighter I dont go to complete failure, or if I am doing something like pullups I sort of pre exaust by starting out with a few sets of 10 then seeing what I can do after that.

Actually I did not go to failure. Don't laugh like I said I have been neglecting squats so this was kind of a first time back type of w/o

w.u.-10x135
work 1-12x225
work 2-12x245
work 3-6x275 (just short of failure I'd say--form was pretty bad on this one)
burnout 1-21x135
burnout 2-12x185

I surprised myself on the burnouts, kind of underestimated the weight it would take to exhaust me. I was thinking 20 would be really hard on the first one, did 21, upped the weight thinking 8-10 would be nice, did 12.

I think next time for a burnout I will try the second weight for 20.

I think I would be happy if I could get 3 sets of 275 for 12.
