I am dieting right now.. I'm 6'3 215lbs.. I am wondering if I am comsuming enough or too much

This is Non-Weight Training days

2018 Calories
256 Protein
60 Carbs
60 Fat

Weight Training days

2290 Calories
256 Protein
132 Carbs
60 Fat

all is in grams in case someone didn't know...

Cardio 30-45 minutes everyday first thing in the moriniing..
Lifting weights 4 times per week with cardio....

Taking your weight times 13 to get your BMR I get 2,795 calories a day.

I'm assuming at a minimum you're burning 300-400 calories doing cardio and another 250 when weight training.

On your non-weight training days you'd have a caloric deficit of 1,077 to 1,177 calories, and on your weight training days the deficit is even worse.

I would think it might be too much and with that much cardio and few carbs you'll be burning muscle.

I agree, a couple spoonfuls of flax should even it out, maybe throw in another shake with flax and it would be perfect!

i'd only go that calorie deficient if on some kind of gear...otherwise with that amount of calories and that much cardio you are going to burn away precious muscle

yes, up your calories and drop some of that cardio. you are doing way too much of it! 30-45 every day plus an additional 4 more cardio session after weight... wow.

are you dieting for a contest?
also, post your daily diet.

Well, I'm doing cardio 7 days a week as well, an hour on the treadmill every morning. I'm natural too BTW.

Today was my 25th day in a row of cardio, down about 13lbs, and my strength is up (deads up 30lbs, squats up 30lbs, incline up 15lbs)...no bullshit.

I used to be scared of cardio, however it's not as catabolic as people make it out to be.

Personaly I think your calories look fine where there at now. Oh, and I'd drop the cardio after weights...this is the time your body is screaming for nutrients.

i agree, as long as your diet's good, ur getting good fats and a surplus of protein and not cutting calories too much, cardio isn't such a muscle burner
