Im 23, and been around weights all my life, my dad was a powerlifter and bodybuilder in the 70's.

anyways, ive had a couple jobs, both suck ass ones and professional ones, been workin full time since 16, and currently own my own business right now. Just not what i want to do for the rest of my life.

I want to be come a full time personal trainer, ive trained many friends, both guys and girls, and love it. i just love being at the gym, its a real positive enviroment, and to be able to be there everyday as a job would be a dream.anyways, i really want to step it up, and become a professional trainer.

so whats kind of schooling do gyms usually look for, how competitive is this field. and im affraid to ask, but hows the pay on average.
i appricate any info.

there was just a pretty extensive thread on the training board posted by LEE on this if you want to hit it up. there are a few with the types of certs most popular etc. that happen every few weeks or so. hit a "personal trainer" or "PT" search and you shall have all the info you seek. :)
