Two Part Post:

I've been reading a lot of the posts here and since I'm new to this whole body building thing..some of this stuff is just completely foreign to me. It looks like you guys are speaking in a completely different language. Is there any individual post or site that breaks down the entire lingo?

Also..

I made a post here a while back and someone reccomended that I use a fat burner..since I have a lot of body fat. I'm 17, 160 lbs., about 15-20% bf. I'm not sure if I should take Xenadrine or Hydroxycut..or anything like that since I'm sure there are side effects. What kind of stuff could I expect and are there any sites that give individual supplement breakdowns and stuff?

Thanks.

Definitely, you should do fat burners. Those things increase your heart rate, and are scary. All that xenadrine, metabolife, metabodead stuff is not good. wait til ur 18 and begin doing some cycles of good stuff, and like MD2000 said, drink plenty of water, and train train train.

I'm looking to get cut up by losing as much body fat as possible..without losing weight. So I wanna stay at 150-160 lbs..and get down to around 10% bf..

If you have never used a Fat burner before, you could go the EFX Ephederine free way, since I assume that you are not a huge caffeine junkie drinking coffee and sodas all day and don't have a prior high tolerance to ECA stacks. If I was you, I would get my diet in track, cutting back all fast food, but give yourself a temptation everyonce in a while, as its hard to diet hardcore if you never have, cut out all non diet sodas, as well as candy and back snackfoods.

Also here are some important stuff to buy
1)protein shakes to get ur protein after weight training, and also a great way to start off breakfast
2)Fiber one, or some low sugar, either whole wheat or nutritious cereals that have lower carbs compared to fiber. This will help you with regularity, and just a good thing to be doing.
3)Multivitamen- get a good one, ask your doctor. I use GNC Mega MEn's as they are a good bang for the buck
4)Glutamine- not necessary, but great for workout recovery and for immune system response
5)non ephederine fat burner, if you want to cut fat
6)Gym Membership- either develop a workout from a Personal trainer, or follow the Muscle and Fitness ROCK HARD CHALLANGE, or BODY FOR LIFE, if you are starting out.
-when starting out, these programs are good to jump into bodybuilding, and allow you to make variations as you get better.

Good luck, you'll need it the first couple weeks, then its easy to stick to everything

i would suggest that for the first month or so you go light and concentrate on FORM then when your FORM is good you can increase poundage slowly and for nutrition,1-1.5g of protein per body weight, carbs only post workout and EFA's throughout the day and CARDIO 45 mins after workouts 4 times a week.

I try to get about 200g of protein in me a day.

My food intake is something like this:

Breakfast - 2 Egg Whites, Cereal.
Snack 1: Myoplex Protein Shake
Lunch: Usually lean chicken/tuna and rice or something like that.
Snack 2: Myoplex Protein Shake.
Dinner: Differes...but it always has lean chicken in it..sometimes beans and stuff like that.

I've been lifting for awhile..I'm just not heavy duty.

Anyone wanna reccomend a routine for me?
I try to do something like this (run for 15-20 mins daily):
Day 1: Chest (3 different excercise, 3 sets of 12)
Day 2: Biceps & Triceps (2 different excercise of each, 3 sets of 12)
Day 3: Legs (3 different excercise, 3 sets of 12)
Day 4: Back & Shoulder (2 different excercise of each, 3 sets of 12)
Day 5: Run for 30 mins.
Day 6: Run for 30 mins

And then I restart the cycle. What do you guys think?

i think you should rest between days 2 and 3
and rest on the seventh day, do more cardio during your worout days.(30-45 mins) you should also do abs.
