This was on another one of my posts but now I have a new problem! Here is my split........

mon- Chest only (will not change)
tues- Back/Biceps/forearms (want to use push pull method)
wed- Shoulders/Triceps (want to use push pull method)
thurs- Rest
Fri- Chest/and??????
sat- Legs

Here are the rules I want to follow........

1. Chest twice a week. One of these two days can include another muscle group.

2. All other muscle groups only once a week.

3. I want to use the push pull training method instead of pull pull, or push push.

It's making me crazy guys!
 
mon - chest
tue - back/calves
weds - off
thurs - shoulders/triceps
friday - chest/biceps
saturday - off
sunday - quads/hams

That is really close to what I want, really close! The only thing bugging my is on thurs- shoulders/triceps, the next day my triceps will be too weak and tired for a good chest workout. Should I just stick to cable exercises and flyes etc for my friday chest workout? Or should we change it up a bit? Thanks so far YUM.

"Should I just stick to cable exercises and flyes etc for my friday chest workout?" - Of course. If you're going to train a bodypart twice a week one should be heavy the other light. Unless of course you're superman, then the ordinary rules won't apply.

I like what Genarr suggested...

or you could try:

mon - chest
tue - back/calves
weds - shoulders/triceps
thurs - off
friday - chest/biceps
saturday - quads/hams

ORRRRRRRRR you could run a 4 day split like chest/bi, back/calves, shoulders/triceps and quads/hams and take only 2 days off a week... so you'll be hitting chest twice every 7-8 days I believe... That's what I do, only I run it 4 on, 3 off...

u know what Yum, I actually like that routine and think i am going to start that for myself starting next week. Thx man even though its not for me but fucking right on!!
