I dont remeber exactly what I was doing that year (3 years ago) but I can tell you this, I was killin myself like I always do. Trained heavy with basic exercises. Stuck with heavy dumbells for chest and shoulders and squats like crazy and heavy dead lifts. I never wear a belt either. I owe alot of my lower back development to that. Currenlty I have changed things up and have been using Trevor Smith's style of BFT. Plus I ate like an animal. I was up to 260 when I began to train for that show and came down to 198 in 20 weeks(should have went in at 208 and full). I am now going to try to pass the 270 mark before I began to diet again. Lets see where it takes me.
