I LOVE being off the pill.

I really hate condoms but I don't miss all those hormones. Now I can drop weight off again like I normally can, I'm less crabby, and my chest isn't super swollen up and painful. It's heavenly!

YAY ..... funny though, I gained weight when I went off the pill. AND got PMS symptoms - I never had them before. But, it is nice to be hormone free, it just FEELS cleaner, you know?!?!

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOB

I had stopped for a few months and had to go back on when ***GROSSNESS DISCLAIMER***

the massive bleeding and cloting wouldn't stop. I let my father pick a pill for me (he's OB/GYN) and he suggested Mircette and it's been very good for me, no PMS, no period, less migraines.

Maybe I'll have to try that Velvett. I love having a regular cycle and a lighter cycle when I'm on it but the sides suck. I go up at least a cup size and it hurts to even be hugged 24-7. And some of them make me turn into some kind of horned evil creature from the depths of hell. Other have made me cry all the time.

Is Mircette lower in estrogen? The last pill I was on didn't make me super moody but I put on over 10 pounds. That's not like me at all.

I just asked my ob/gyn for information on getting a copper iud.

She was against it because I've never had a child.

I got a prescription for micromor? I don't want to take it though. SUX..

I'm happy to be off them too. I went from high estrogen to low estrogen to the patch. I couldn't handle the hormones, mood swings, weight gain (and then being unable to lose the weight), swollen boobs that hurt, hair loss, etc.. In the winter, I said enough is enough.

Now, I only use condoms.

I have an IUD your OBG not recommend it generally but I spooke with several woman one of which was a nurse before I got mine. She got her first IUD 20 years ago when she took it out she was pregnant with in 3 months. It rarely has and effect on your future fertilty if your worried about that. It is just a bit more painful for woman that have never had kids to get them put in. I was fine did some deep breathing well he put it in and it was all good.

Low - 20mcg combined - I was on 35 and oddly enough I still don't get a period (THANK YOU GOD!)

The first three weeks are the same
First two days of the 4th the dose drops but there is still trace
The the last 5 bump back up to half the estradiol as the first 3 weeks.

It has been quite good for me migraine and skin wise.

My metabolism is so fubar that I can't tell about weight and as far as water and bloat I can't tell that either.

If you can not use OC don't (personal opinion only) if otherwise keep looking until you find the one.

Ouuuuuuuuu birth control pills are much like dating - LOL

i have tried every almost every method...depo made me gain too much weight and i bled non stop....pill i was on ortho tri cyclin got pregnant.....went for a tubal 48 hours after delivery but couldnt get one. so i decided on i.u.d first 4 weeks were terrible but good now. thought i would have problems because its the same hormones as depo but i guess not

That is so true. From the age 17 to 25, I tried almost every dosage of OC. The patch was the last option. I couldn't take it anymore, so I gave up. Hormones and me don't mix.

I'm still hopeful about dating (LOL).
