HUGE problem about cardio

Before i got seriously into training and dieting 4 years ago, i was 320 lbs...fat but im a big guy....Wh i first started doing cardio i had the most awfull shin splints...The only thing that heals them is rest and time....You can massage them and ice them it helps........I still get them in my forearms when i do straight bar curls...

yeah, back in high school, i got them so bad from continual running in wrestling practice. they got so bad that if anyone even touched the medial side of my tibia, it would just kill. when they got like that, it would take around a week and a half just for the soreness to go away. and continual stretching.
