HST while on cycle

Has anyone ever done the HST method while on cycle and had measured success to where you'd do it again? I've used 5X5 and regular progressive overload while on but have never tried HST and am wondering if I'd see good results with the rep variations the program calls for.

If you have, did you alter the general program in any way (add exercises, sets, change rep structure, etc)?

I've done HST cycles, but was natty through all the mini cycles of both. Are you thinking strength would progress too rapidly for the standard progression plan to work for you?

I get pretty good results from a standard HST cycle while not on, but am a little concerned that it wouldn't be sufficient enough volume or load to really reap the benefits of being on. I'm not convinced that the weeks leading up to my "15,10 or 5" rep max would work well with AAS.
I've pretty much talked myself out of HST while juicing, but am curious to see what those who have done both at the same time say.

Yeah I understand what you mean. Considering how optimal your nitrogen balance will be and your recovery speed it may just tend to waste your gear. You could try perhaps slowing rep speed, i.e. increasing the time under tension of each set.

I haven't noticed anyone on EF even talking about HST in years, so I'm doubtful anyone else will have input.
