Hips and inner thigh

the last two sessions that I did squats, my inner thigh where it connects to my hips started hurting. since wide stance squats where new to me, I am thinking that it was my muscles getting used to the movement. but the second time, it still hurt like a mofo, like a pinching pain, and usually occured at the very top of the movement. I stretched out and it went away, but still occured in the following sets. any suggestions?

(I think I can hear someone say pull throughs)

It takes time. I remember feeling an entirely new kinda pain when I started doing wide stanced box squats...ouch!!!! It took me about a month or more...then it just went away.

Remember, with those wide-stance squats you're doing, you're incorporating muscles that aren't accustomed to being used very much. I'd say to go ahead and keep doing them, they will adapt and grow and strengthen eventually. However, if you're feeling that sharp a pain, you will want to keep the weight low.
