Straight up, I'm in college and dont have much money. I cant afforf good carb sources except Oatmeal. I can go through two large 2lb. tubs in one week. Is this bad or should I mix up my carb sources? It's either this or a lot of sugar.
Oatmeal is a staple.....you can't go wrong. You certainly would benefit from some alternate carb sources...maybe some whole grain breads? Bread can be cheap. However sugar is your enemy except for post workout, so keep up with the oatmeal love.
Brown rice is cheap... And sweet potatoes or yams... I LOVE YAMS... I am also a college student those things aren't expensive its all the chicken breast and supps. that get expensive
