why chest alone one day???and why back and shoulders not together...if your gonna give advice please explain confused bro here.:alien:

Personally I like to do shoulders and back on the same day, there is a lot of overlap when doing either of those areas so it makes sense (to me anyway) to do them together.

2 large groups that cannot be done properly on same day-too stressful-don't you ever read bb'ing mags? they all list routines and you'll NEVER see back and shldrs on same day

Get used to it from DDC.
I think maybe you should look at chest day. Bi's, tri's and chest is a little much. I do Chest and Tri's but put Bi's with my back since they are both pulling muscles. Your body will respond differently than anyone else's so find what routine your body responds to but be willing to try different splits to find the right one. Two body parts is probably about it for each workout if you want to give the intensity it takes to break the muscle down enough to generate growth.

I disagree, there is so much overlap between shoulders and back, it's basically impossible to train one without the other, so in effect, to train them separately you'd be doing them 2x per week, which doesn't work for my body. Ever since I started doing them together, my shoulder width has increased by at least a few inches, my back thickness has gone crazy, and I am able to deadlift over 500lbs for reps. So it definitely works for me!

I agree with needsize. I've been doing back and shoulders together for awhile now, and I like it. they do overlap and compliment each other, but not so much that you can't work them out hard on the same day. I've tried doing chest and shoulders together, but that didn't work. My shoulders were too fried from the chest exercises. However, my shoulders are still ready to go after doing my back workout.

I think more people should give the back/shoulder routine a try.

this is my old bulking routine
Day 1 Back/bis
Day 2 chest/ tris
day 3 rest
Day4 shoulders/traps
Day 5 legs
D6+D7 rest
