7.1.03 Let's start off the new month with a quality workout.
Flat bench.
warmups: 135, 155, 185, 205
working: 245 for 9, then 3, then 1
DB military press.
warmups: 40s, 60s
working: 70s for 9. No rest pause.
Dips. I really didnt wanna do these 2 workouts in a row, but the gym was packed, and everything was being occupied. Fuckers.
warmups: BW, +45
working: +125 for 6, then 1.
Chest and shoulders took its toll today.
Rack deads.
warmups: 135, 185
working: 225 for 6, 275 for 6, 315 for 4
Didn't wanna go heavy today. Did some grip work with it instead. I wanted 6 with 315, which I could have done easily with straps, but I dropped it after my 4th rep.
Chins, palms out.
warmups: light sets on lat pulldown, BW chins for 5
working: +35 for 9 or 10 (i forget), then 1
In a few weeks, I'm going to start seriously bulking. louden swain gave me some excellent information to help me with it. mad props to him.
haha. Anyway, throughout the summer, I havent been trying to gain any weight really, but my strength keps increasing, and I have actually put on about 4 pounds since ... I dunno, May? But, around late July, early August, the weights will really start to fly up!!
